What FirstVersion collects
FirstVersion stores account and family details, cohort and learning progress, assessment activity, and messages students send to the AI tutor. We collect only information needed to deliver and improve the programme.
Children and parent consent
A parent or guardian must register students and consent before they use the platform. Parents may ask to review, correct, export, or delete their family data, subject to records FirstVersion must retain for legal or programme administration purposes.
Use and sharing
Data is used for teaching, support, safeguarding, progress reporting, and platform security. FirstVersion does not sell personal data. Limited data may be processed by contracted hosting, email, database, and AI providers solely to operate the service.
Your choices and rights
A parent or guardian may withdraw optional consent and may request access, correction, restriction, portability, objection, or deletion where applicable. Withdrawing consent does not invalidate earlier lawful processing, but it may disable a feature that depends on that consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
International processing
Some contracted technology providers may process data outside Nigeria. FirstVersion will use an applicable lawful transfer basis and reasonable contractual and security safeguards for such processing.
Retention and contact
Data is retained only while needed for the programme, security, or legal obligations. To make a privacy request or withdraw optional consent, email privacy@prysmai.io.
