AI Use Notice

Purpose

The FirstVersion AI tutor supports explanations, guided practice, and reflection within the curriculum. It is a learning aid, not a human teacher, counsellor, doctor, lawyer, or emergency service.

Student safeguards

• Do not share passwords, addresses, phone numbers, or private family details.
• Check important claims with a facilitator or trusted adult.
• Tell a trusted adult if a response feels unsafe, upsetting, or inappropriate.
• Do not use the tutor to bully, cheat, or create harmful content.

Processing and oversight

Tutor messages are sent to an AI service to generate replies and may be stored for progress, safety, quality, and support. Access is limited to authorised programme personnel and service providers. Automated output can be incomplete or incorrect, so human oversight remains essential.
