Purpose

FirstVersion uses AI in two limited roles. The optional student tutor supports explanations, guided practice and reflection within the curriculum. The programme planner helps a school or organisation examine a proposed delivery plan and identify useful follow-up questions. Neither tool replaces a teacher, programme lead or professional adviser.

Programme planner boundaries

The planner uses the partnership-enquiry outline and recent messages to produce tailored questions and suggestions. It cannot approve a partnership, confirm staff or dates, set or quote fees, guarantee outcomes, claim accreditation or form an agreement. Commercial and delivery decisions require review by the FirstVersion team.

Do not include student names, passwords, financial or health information, government identifiers or confidential institutional information in planner messages.

Student safeguards

• Do not share passwords, addresses, phone numbers, or private family details.
• Check important claims with a facilitator or trusted adult.
• Tell a trusted adult if a response feels unsafe, upsetting, or inappropriate.
• Do not use the tutor to bully, cheat, or create harmful content.

Processing and oversight

Tutor and programme-planner messages are sent to an AI service to generate replies and may be stored for progress, safety, quality, and support. Access is limited to authorised programme personnel and service providers. Automated output can be incomplete or incorrect, so human oversight remains essential.
